Dear Abington Foundation Friends,
With the rapid spread of COVID-19, the Abington Foundation’s staff, Foundation Management Services, is working remotely; however, our grantmaking cycles and work will not be interrupted at this time. We want to assure organizations with current grants that we recognize this developing situation may affect your ability to implement programming as you had planned. Previously awarded grants will not be revoked if a program or initiative is postponed. We want to offer you flexibility during this time. You need not be concerned about programmatic progress that may be impeded during this crisis. We will look forward to communicating with you after you have time to understand how your programming might be adjusted in the future.
We are also working with other funders in our community to identify ways we can support the nonprofit sector to address the unanticipated needs of this crisis.
Should you have any pressing questions or concerns regarding your grant, please email your FMS office contact. Otherwise, please know that we understand you are working hard to manage the challenges within your organizations.
Thank you for your commitment to our community.
